ok ho provato a eliminare la chiave con valore "Simple" ma non ha funzionato.
allora ho semplicemente lanciato il file .reg allegato e finalmente csurvey è partito.

Is this file generated by topodroid?
I mean: you never edit it in cSurvey?
As I can see the problem in the xml: at row 1248 a 'space' is missing between "xx0" and "scale":

<item type="point" name="label" cave="P_CASCADEI" branch="1" text="muschi pe travertin"  bind="xx0"scale="0" orientation="0.00" options="" >

You can fix manually adding the missing space.
If the file was made by Topodroid I suggest to update (manually) to the new Topodroid version 6 that use a different logic in cSurvey export and, I guess,  solve this problem.
As far as I knows Topodroid v5 is not more updated.

Elimina le impostazioni nel registro usando questo file o prova ad eliminare la chiave nel registro:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Cepelabs\cSurvey]
Ti si resetteranno le impostazioni ma l'errore dovrebbe sparire.
Se hai dimestichezza con il registro, puoi, in alternativa, cercare, nella chiave di cui sopra, il valore che riporta 'Simple' e cancellare solo quello.

Csurvey mi crasha in avvio in due macchine virtuali: un Windows 10 e un Windows 7  su Linux Mint con VirtualBox.
il segnale è lo stesso in entrambi i casi:

i attached the file, it is actually another file, this happened to me 2 times and i usually redraw in Csurvey over a jpeg made from the  Csv file but it takes a wile

scale is an unexplected token expecting white space..
i cannot load  the 1p file so it is related to the drawing the data only file can be loaded
