But...reading back your posts I think that I can add I function to save a customized pen (or brush) to be reusable. So you could create some missing pen with the actual UI, save it and reuse it every time you need.
Of course full customization cover more or, better, any scenario but the problem, now, is the massive use of 'Graphics' and 'GraphicsPath' objects. I have to remove it in the code using more powerfull object at least for the internal cache (for final drawing, at now, is not possibile...in future I have planned to migrate all to skia or siminal graphics engine).

L'ho cercato sul web dove ho trovato vari simboli "simili" ma mi parevano sempre dei 'mezzi quadrati' ruotati di 45°.
Attendo un secondo parere poi lo aggiungo.

No, sorry. This feature (pen with custom 'drawer') still in the to do list.
But yes, I have updated github with v2 source code. If you download it give me some feedback. I this some file will be missing cause I was using two different SVN but I want to dismiss Visual Studio Team Foundation Server.
PS: Devexpress component are not present in the source code and I don't think that was public on nuget. If you get all files copy the missing library from the cSurvey compiled folder. Devexpress nuget and Devexpress 'designer' require a licence and I cannot give you the one I'm using cause is registered to the company I work for.

Mmh, with the v1 in not so easy. cSurvey show the message from therion and the message said that two stations are marked as equate (same point) but there is a shot defined between this two stations.
Problem is in data but don't have an idea to help you to go direct to the source of the problem.
You can:
- try v2 but this is the first time I saw this so it's possible that the message even in v2 still not clear
- go to file->settings and unckeck delete temporary file in therion section; reopen csurvey and this survey, calculate and then go to %temp% folder. Sort file's list by date and open with therion the last _therion_config.thconfig and press the "gear/cog" button looking in xtherion where the error lead you in data file. cSurvey use a dictionary from station's name. You can disable also this options but in many cases station's name give problem so do this only if you don't find a way to get out from this.
- send me in private the file with the problem I check it. If possible I add the code to manage this exception in v2 (this version have many more features to do this).

In teoria si. Ho usato la penna varie volte ma non di recente ma la tavoletta mi è sempre risultata scomoda ma dovrebbe andare.
Non vengono riconosciuti livelle di pressione o altro. Funziona ne più ne meno come il mouse.

- corretto bug nella form che avvia loch che impediva il corretto salvataggio delle impostazioni se si usava il menu a tendina alternativo ad Ok;
- corretto bug nei dati di superficie che portava alla sparizione di un set di dati creato da un altro con riduzione.

- corretto bug nella trasparenza delle immagini e degli sketch;

- corretti vari bug nell'import da excel e da testo generico (gestione colonne da non importare, autocodifica capisaldi se si omettono from e to, migliore riconoscimento, per excel, dell'area usata dai dati)
- aggiunta profondità ai dati dei capisaldi (se subacquei)
