Ciao,

Sto cercando di importare un file .asc (DEM) e sovrapporlo a un rilievo speleologico.

Tuttavia, evidentemente sto sbagliando qualcosa, perché continuo a ricevere il seguente errore:
"no usable coordinate transformation found"
in cSurveyPC.cSurvey.Calculate.cCalculate.pCalculateSegments(cTrigPointCalculateItem Origin, cSegmentGroupCollection Groups)
nel file D:\Personali\cSurvey\cSurveyPC\Calculate\cCalculate.vb:line 1635.

Esiste un tutorial, oppure qualcuno potrebbe spiegarmi come importare e utilizzare correttamente un modello DEM di superficie con un rilievo di grotta in cSurvey?

I'm trying to import an .asc file (a DEM) and overlay it on a cave survey.

However, I'm clearly doing something wrong, because I keep getting the following error:
"no usable coordinate transformation found"
at cSurveyPC.cSurvey.Calculate.cCalculate.pCalculateSegments(cTrigPointCalculateItem Origin, cSegmentGroupCollection Groups)
in D:\Personali\cSurvey\cSurveyPC\Calculate\cCalculate.vb:line 1635.

Is there any tutorial available, or could someone please explain how to properly import and use a surface DEM with a cave survey in cSurvey?

Hello... any fix for the scale of *.svg in the new version? I tried, but it seems that the scale is different... I made 1:100 but instead of 10 mm is 13.28mm... Any chance to fix this?

Thank you for the answer. I have a question... If I exported the *.svg with the graphical scale, the real measurements are correct? How to have the real scale? Export a *.jpg or other raster format with graphical scale and transform / scale the *.svg according to that? Is this correct?

Also, there are differences between the *svg exported from TopoDroid directly (plan design for example) and the *svg exported from csurvey (no graphic, only centerline and splay)

Hello!

I've noticed that when I export a document without any graphic it goes out at a different scale (a bit bigger) than the same document with graphic.
When I try to put the one in front of another, they differ. Is there any issue or some settings that i have to pay attention?

I mention that the scale is set manally 1:100 for both documents.

The info (data) are imported from TopoDroid.

For the one with graphic, when I place it in Illustrator I get the message: ”Clipping will be lost on roundtrip to tinny!”

How to / Many cave surveys in a single file?

Hello all and a Happy New Year, a better one!

Is it possible to have many caves (cave surveys) in the same file, to compare them and simulate on the surface?
I tried to import a file, but if they are not connected (have at least one common station), it is not imported.

I will try more on help / courses, but if someone have a little bit time, maybe can confirm if this is possible.

How to / Problems when importing cave sections (enabling WARPING)...

Hello,

When I try to import another section / survey in a cSurvey document, in survey check I get the messages: Plan warping not enabled in this survey / Profile warping not enabled in this survey, and if I ignore this, the design (sketch- i just have a plan sketch) is moved in other position, different from the centerline...

Can anyone explain a bit where to check for enable warping in a survey? I just don't understand where I did wrong... Some of other surveys just worked fine...

I have the last nightbuild of cSurvey.
Here are the operations I did:
I exported the sketch from TopoDroid as *.csx
I opened the *.csx file in cSurvey
I exported the image as *.svg from cSurvey.

When I try to import it in Adobe Illustrator I get the message that is showing in the first PrintScreen.
And after, when is placed in place, it looks like in the second PrintScreen, with the small instance on it...

In addition, this image (exported as *.svg) is different in size as the other exported as raster (tiff, jpg, etc) even if they are at the same resolution (96 dpi).

Hello... Is there any option to set the resolution for the exported image? (jpg, tiff, etc). And... in case i export svg... why the size of this image (when imported 1:1) is different compared with jpg, tiff (raster images)? Anyone tried?

In addition, when I import the *.svg to Illustrator i get two instances (one small and one big)... Anyone of you get the same result? (see attachment).
